With Halloween just around the corner, the latest reveal for the Animal Crossing Fall update teases some new spooky activities.
These include growing pumpkins for new recipes, Halloween costume dress-up and finally some new eye colors.
Between the release time of the Animal Crossing September update and Halloween, you can use the time to grow pumpkins by purchasing seeds from Lief or Nook’s Cranny.
Pumpkins can be grown and you can then harvest these resources for use in pumpkin recipes and DIY projects such as carved pumpkin adornments.
The new adornments such as Jack ‘O Lamps can then be used to decorate your lawn and show off your enthusiasm for Halloween.
You can also gather candy for the big night, ready to hand out as treats.
If you have ever wanted to get your villagers into the spooky festival spirit then now you can.
Brand new Halloween costumes have also been added to the new update so you can dress up your favorite characters in the new outfits from Able Sisters.
Witch and Mage outfits for example can be fitted along with Wicked Witch green body paint or spooky blue and purple.

At long last, changing eye colors will be possible by swapping out contacts on your characters as there’s a new selection of eye colors.
Plus, Halloween themed DIY projects can be procured from neighbors.
All of this is, of course, celebrated on Halloween night as you finally show off all the best that the ACNH fall update has to offer.
At 5 p.m on October 31st, the ACNH Halloween festival will begin in the plaza.
Jack, the “czar of Halloween” will be there to take your hard-earned candy and lollipops in exchange for exclusive in-game items and rewards.
Be sure to save some candy for your neighbors however, or you may get tricked.
On an additional note, there will be some new spooky reactions available.
These will also be available to use through a NookLink update coming later on.
