Not being one to shy away from movie tie-ins or D.C Comics, Epic Games has released the not so surprising Fortnite Harley Quinn skin as part of its latest update and end to Chapter 2, Season 1.
Epic has finally released the rumored Harley Quinn costume for its flagship online video game.
Thanks to the ever-vigilant Fortnite data miners, we have known about this update for some time now as it comes just before the release of Suicide Squad spin-off movie Birds of Prey.
Gotham City’s Maiden of Mayhem not only looks super-cool but comes with unique challenges that will award an alternate costume.
This will essentially give you two skins for the price of one as you bash your way through the game with Harley’s signature mallet and baseball bat.
The primary skin included with your purchase is the iconic “Daddy’s ‘Lil Monster” costume from 2016’s Suicide Squad movie.
Although not an exact likeness, the character model of Harley Quinn is obviously based on Margot Robbie’s excellent portrayal the psychoanalyst turned psychopath.
The ‘Lil Monster skin includes Harley’s “Good Night” baseball bat that can be used as a powerful melee weapon.
This skin also comes with Harley’s oversized “Punch Line” mallet that looks like it has come straight from The Joker’s Seagate Amusement Park.
The alternate skin that can be unlocked is based on the “Always Fantabulous Harley” costume from the upcoming Birds of Prey.
In order to access the skin, you will need to have purchased the ‘Lil Monster skin and completed several relatively easy challenges.
The following challenges are required:
- Place top 30 in Solo, Duos, or Squads, then top 20, then top 10
- Hit weak points
- Deal damage using Pickaxes
The Harley Quinn skins can also be unlocked as part of the Gotham City set that was previously released.
As mentioned, this isn’t Fortnite’s first set of D.C Comics items.
An amazing Gotham City set was released late last year to coincide with Batman Day and included ultra-cool Batman and Catwoman skins.
Other movie tie-ins we have seen in Fortnite have also included costumes from Marvel movies and John Wick.
Fortnite version 11.50 was also released this week as the “Love and War” event kicks off.
Throughout this event, teams of six players must combine their efforts across seven rounds to either destroy or defend a bombsite.

The new event comes with the expected new cosmetic sets, skins and masks.
Fortnite’s amazing new Harley Quinn skins are available now as a standalone product or as part of the Gotham City Pack.
