Additional superheroes such as Captain Marvel and Black Panther can be obtained in the recent Fortnite Marvel Update.
Fortnite is well known for its crossover events and has seen such iconic characters as Star Wars Stormtroopers, Keanu Reeves’ John Wick and different versions of Batman.
In 2020, Marvel’s biggest crossover event began with iconic characters from the Marvel comic books as part of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4.
The new season had a massive teaser at the end of Season 3 where Thor’s Hammer, Mjolnir was placed in a Salty Springs crater.

This led to obvious speculation about Season 4 and Fortnite players’ suspicions were confirmed in August when data miners uncovered unlockable Marvel skins.
Titled “Nexus War” Season 4 has seen many Marvel favorites, both heroes and villains, be added into the game such as Dr. Doom, Wolverine and She-Hulk.
The latest batch of goodies has added even more classic characters as part of its “Royalty and Warriors” pack.
Legendary Black Panther, inspiring Captain Marvel and the brutal Taskmaster have been added to the already impressive roster of Marvel heroes and villains.
The addition of Black Panther holds more weight than any other hero given the tragic and untimely death of Chadwick Boseman who portrayed the character in his own movie.
Captin Marvel adds a touch of style and is an inspirational option that female players might relate to in a mostly male-dominated game.
Black Panther’s skin also includes the cool kinetic effect that comes from the tech in his combat suit, a Vibranium pickaxe and a Wakandan glider.
Nexus War has held several events that have added multiple Marvel assets not limited to heroes or villains.

Other items added include landmark locations such as the Avengers’ Helicarrier, Stark Industries and The Collector’s Hideout.
All the amazing new Marvel stuff was added as a precursor to the Season Finale which ended with the Galactus Event.

Fortnite is a hugely popular Battle Royale game that has seen phenomenal success in its three years since release.

The game is popular with tweens and teens and has seen some controversial claims of being addictive.
Despite much negative press, Fortnite still maintains a massive player base thanks to Epic Games’ dedication to the title.
Regular updates and fresh content keeps the game interesting and for the time being it isn’t going anywhere.
Fortnite is available for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
