Fans of a highly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive have bad news: Ghost of Tsushima’s supposed release date has been exposed as a scam.
The seemingly imminent release date of the much anticipated PlayStation exclusive game was, in reality, a fraud, leaving PlayStation 4 users with a rude surprise.
Everything began when a paper from a Sony stakeholder meeting purportedly said that the next Sony game, Ghost of Tsushima, would be released in the latter half of 2019.
The game’s creator has announced that it will be launched in the first half of 2020 which eventually invalidated the rumors.
Known for its third-person action and stealth adventure theme,Ghost of Tsushima is based on the Mongol invasion of Japan and the last remaining Samurai warriors who fought back against the invasion.
The game is praised for its stunning representation of Japanese culture, including traditional combat techniques, genuine armor and weaponry, and an engaging open world.
The battle is reportedly very realistic, requiring both the player and the character to master various fighting styles to outwit the invading Mongol warriors.
Samurai films and early Japanese cinema were rumored to have served as major sources of inspiration for the game’s creators, who also consulted with historical sword fighting expert David Ishamaru on the game’s combat.
Other game features, like leveling, interactive NPCs, side quests, and mounts, will follow the standard open-world design.
Ghost of Tsushima is a highly anticipated game that was distributed by Sony & created by Sucker Punch.
This game is one to watch since Sucker Punch is renowned for creating fantastic open-world games from the Infamous series.
We can expect Ghost of Tsushima to be made available on PlayStation 4 in early 2020.
