What does the Ruby Bracelet do in Enter The Gungeon?
The Ruby Bracelet is a D-rank passive item that gives players the ability to Charge Roll into enemies for 300 damage.
In addition to the enhanced dodge roll ability, the Ruby Bracelet also provides immunity to contact damage in Enter the Gungeon.
Is the Ruby Bracelet a good item in Enter The Gungeon?
The Ruby Bracelet is a better item than it was before the A Farewell To Arms update, as the current Ruby Bracelet gives players the ability to inflict the second most powerful burst damage in Enter the Gungeon.
Best Synergy for Ruby Bracelet in Enter The Gungeon
The Ruby Bracelet offers four unique Synergies in-game – Alternative Rock, Backdraft, Ruby Carbine, and Saved the Best for Last.
Alternative Rock
The B-rank Face Melter and the Ruby Bracelet can combine to activate the Alternative Rock Synergy in Enter the Gungeon.
The Alternative Rock Synergy alters the Face Melter’s four-stream attack and turns it into two parallel columns of notes instead. In addition, reloading the Face Melter with the Alternative Rock Synergy active will cause it to fire a guitar pick that has a chance to stun enemies.
Backdraft
Having both the Ruby Bracelet and the Armor of Thorns will activate the Backdraft Synergy between these two items.
Backdraft gives the player the ability to set enemies on fire upon contact.
Ruby Carbine
The C-rank Hegemony Carbine and the Ruby Bracelet can combine to activate the Ruby Carbine Synergy in Enter the Gungeon.
This Synergy will alter the Hegemony Carbine’s shots by giving its bullets the ability to bounce and light enemies on fire.
Saved the Best for Last
The Hip Holster passive item gives guns the ability to fire a perfectly accurate free single bullet shot upon reloading.
The Hip Holster and the Ruby Bracelet’s Saved the Best for Last Synergy will cause the Hip Holster’s free reload shots to explode.
How to Use the Ruby Bracelet in Enter The Gungeon?
The Ruby Bracelet’s most compelling effect is its Charge Roll which deals 300 damage to enemies hit.
Players can charge the Ruby Bracelet’s Charge Roll by constantly moving (but not dodge roll) for four seconds. After which, the player will turn pink and can dodge roll into enemies for 300 damage.
Conclusion
The Ruby Bracelet used to be an item that gave players the ability to toss away their guns and cause them to explode for minor damage.
The new and improved Ruby Bracelet post-A Farewell To Arms update is a much more usable and practical passive item that gives players the ability to deal massive burst damage when used correctly.
Even if players choose not to use the Charge Roll ability that the Ruby Bracelet provides in Enter the Gungeon, they still have the option to pair up the passive item with any of its four Synergies in-game.
