What is the Tool Crafting Part for?
Tool Crafting Part is a crafting material used in crafting Trade Skill tools in Lost Ark. There are two types of Tool Crafting Parts, bound and unbound, but both serve the same purpose in the game.
You will need a specific number of Tool Crafting Parts to craft Trade Skill Tools in Lost Ark. For example, the Adept Excavating Tool requires 8 Tool Crafting Parts alongside multiple other crafting materials. The good news is you can easily craft multiple Tool Crafting Parts through your Stronghold.
Where do you find the Tool Crafting Part in Lost Ark?
You cannot find the Tool Crafting Part in the open as loot drops in Lost Ark. Instead, you have two options: craft a specific chest called the Tool Crafting Part Chest or craft the Tool Crafting Part individually.
To craft the Tool Crafting Part Chest, you must acquire the Tool Crafting Part Chest Recipe from the Crafting Recipe Exchange NPC Jeniff in your Stronghold. You can purchase the Craft Recipe: Tool Crafting Part Chest for 80 Adventurer’s Seals and the Crafting Recipe: Tool Crafting Part from Jeniff for 80 Adventurer’s Seals.
After you have purchased either recipe above, right-click on the item in your inventory to unlock the ability to craft the Tool Crafting Part Chest or Tool Crafting Part in your Crafting Workshop.
You will need the following items to craft either one:
- Strong Iron Ore x22 (Tool Crafting Part only)
- Strong Ore x22 (Tool Crafting Part Chest only)
- Sturdy Timber x22 (Tool Crafting Part only)
- Strong Timber x22 (Tool Crafting Part Chest only)
- Heavy Iron Ore x88 (Tool Crafting Part only)
- Natural Gem x88 (Tool Crafting Part Chest only)
- Tender Timber x88
- Gold x20
Navigate to the “Farm” tab in your Crafting Workshop and look for the Tool Crafting Part Chest option under Trade Skill Tools. Craft the chest, then open it to get 30x Tool Crafting Parts and 576 Stronghold XP.
To craft the Tool Crafting Part, navigate to the “Tools” tab and scroll down to the “Part Materials” options. This option will also give you 30x Tool Crafting Parts.
Can you sell tools in Lost Ark?
You can sell tools at General Merchants or just about every merchant NPC in Lost Ark. However, don’t expect to get much in return for selling these, as Life Skill Tools are worth as little as one piece of Silver.
With that said, you cannot dismantle Life Skill Tools as well, which means the only way to get rid of these extra items from your inventory is by selling them for that one piece of Silver.
Is Crafting worth it in Lost Ark?
Crafting is typically the only way to get some items in Lost Ark, making it a valuable gameplay mechanic.
For example, you can only get the Tool Crafting Part through crafting in your Stronghold. There are multiple other items, such as Trade Skill Tools, Weapons, Food, and Battle Items that you can only get through crafting.
