What is Legion Raid?
Legion Raid is an endgame PvE content in Lost Ark, where you work with other players to take down none other than the powerful Demon Legion Commanders for valuable rewards.
There are currently five Legion Raids in Lost Ark, representing each of the Legion Commanders. Each type will have multiple “Gates,” with each gate featuring its own set of rewards. You can think of Gates as checkpoints that mark the completion of a previous gate.
Depending on the type of Raid you enter, you will be matched with either one or two teams, and each team can have up to 4 players. There are no revives in Legion Raids.
How to Unlock Legion Raid
You can unlock Legion Raids after you complete the South Vern storyline. After you complete all the main quests on South Vern, you should receive a guide quest [Guide] Notice: Legion Raid in the Quest Journal. Complete this quest to unlock Legion Raids in Lost Ark.
If you have completed the South Vern questline, check the Quest Journal to see whether the guide quest is available. Use the Quest Journal search bar to find the guide quest, then click the Locate button to find the quest giver NPC’s location.
- Bring up the Quest Journal by pressing J on your keyboard.
- In the Quest Journal, click on the Search tab.
- In the Search Tab, type in Legion Raid, then click the search button.
- Click on the purple quest in the list on the left.
- Click on Locate.
Pressing Locate will pinpoint the quest giver NPC’s location on the map, which, for this quest, is Vern Castle. In Vern Castle, look for the Lunar Knights Commander and then talk to him to start the guide quest, then complete the quest to unlock Legion Raids.
Where are the entrances to Legion Raids?
You can find the Legion Raid entrance in any major city in Lost Ark. You can always find the Legion Raid entrance near other endgame activities such as the Chaos Dungeon, Abyss Raid, Abyssal Raid, and others. Just look for the globe icon, and you should be able to locate the Legion Raid in Lost Ark.
If you’re still having trouble finding the Legion Raid entrance, bring up the World Map by pressing M, then type in Legion Raid in the search bar in the upper right corner of the World Map menu. Doing so will allow you to pinpoint the Legion Raid’s exact location on the map.
How many Legion Raid runs can you do?
You clear each Legion Raids up to three times per character per week, and this raid limit applies whether you’re playing on normal or hard mode. Alt characters will have separate raid limits, which means you can use your alts to farm Gold in Legion Raids.
Having just three Legion Raid runs per character can be a bummer, but there’s an important reason why it is how it is in Lost Ark.
Gold is the primary reward for completing Legion Raids. Gold is one of the most important currencies in the game, so the devs made sure to limit the amount of Gold players can farm in Legion Raids. Otherwise, players would just be swarming Legion Raids all day.
Conclusion
Legion Raids are some of the most challenging endgame content in Lost Ark and are typically reserved for players that have reached Tier 3 or at least 1415 Item Level. While you probably won’t be able to join Legion Raids anytime soon, you can unlock Legion Raids by completing the guide quest [Guide] Notice: Legion Raid.
