New information on Cyberpunk 2077 Police and Wanted System and how NPCs may interact with the players is revealed.
Cyberpunk 2077 is perhaps one of the most eagerly awaited in gaming history. As its stated April 2020 release date approaches ever-so-slowly, CD Projekt, the game’s creator, is revealing more and more details.
Due to the dystopian plot and setting, most police in Cyberpunk 2077 can be bribed, much like the government of Night City and most of the companies inside. This makes the legal system in the dystopian novel more realistic.
Alvin Liu, the game’s UI coordinator, said in a recent interview with WCCFTech that while the game would contain a “Wanted” system in the manner of the GTA, it will be a bit different from what we are accustomed to.
Liu has also said that NPCs may assault the player if they engage in evil acts like murdering innocent people in front of the public, but they may get away with it if there are no witnesses.
The NPC mechanisms are also set up such that NPCs may take note of the player’s actions, whether good or negative and react to the player in several suitable ways moving forward.
The game is based on the well-known RPG board game Cyberpunk 2020 and is set in the dystopian and criminally infested Night City. It has a finely drawn setting and plot.
Similar to Grand Theft Auto, players will be free to explore the exquisitely detailed game world at their speed. Judging from what we have seen so far, the game world is beyond breathtaking.
Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t require any introduction to most players. The same creators behind the hugely famous The Witcher game series, CD Projekt RED, are creating and releasing the open-world RPG action game.
It has been revealed that the game world will also include environmental threats like pollution-based havoc, acid rain, and a dynamic weather system and calamities tied to global warming, and an extremely detailed metropolis.
