What does the Coin Crown do in Enter The Gungeon?
The Coin Crown is a C-rank passive item that gives you a chance to gain money after successfully clearing any room in Enter the Gungeon.
On its own, the Coin Crown will spawn 5 Bronze Shells on top of the player after clearing a room in the Gungeon. However, a few of the Coin Crowns Synergies will enhance the Coin Crown’s ability to spawn money in Enter the Gungeon even further.
Is the Coin Crown a good item in Enter The Gungeon?
The Coin Crown is a pretty good item that will give you a ton of money if you happen to pick one up early in your Gungeon run.
The Coin Crown only spawns 5 Bronze Shells when triggered in-game, but those 5 Bronze Shells add up very quickly as you clear up more rooms around the Gungeon. With some help from one of the Coin Crown’s Synergies, the Coin Crown can net you even more money after clearing rooms in the Gungeon.
Best Synergy for the Coin Crown in Enter The Gungeon
The Coin Crown features Synergies with three guns and one passive item in Enter the Gungeon – Great Queen Ant, King Bomber, Queen of Hearts, and Two Heavy.
Great Queen Ant
The Great Queen Ant is a Synergy between the Coin Crown and the Gungeon Ant. When this Synergy is active, the C-rank Gungeon Ant transforms into an ant queen that shoots explosive ants that can destroy enemy bullets.
King Bomber (Best Synergy)
If you have the Coin Crown and the D-rank Lil’ Bomber in your inventory at the same time, the Lil’ Bomber’s bomb turns into gold and spawns Bronze Shells when they hit an enemy.
If you’re looking to amass money in Enter the Gungeon, the King Bomber Synergy is arguably the best Synergy for the Coin Crown in-game.
Queen of Hearts
The Coin Crown and the Heart Purse can combine to activate the Queen of Hearts Synergy in Enter the Gungeon.
When this Synergy is active, picking up hearts when you’re at full health will turn the hearts into coins instead.
Two Heavy
With the Coin Crown and the Crown of Guns in your inventory, the Two Heavy Synergy will become active.
Two Heavy increases the Coin Crown’s ability to spawn money after clearing rooms in the Gungeon.
How to Use the Coin Crown in Enter The Gungeon?
The Coin Crown is a passive item in Enter the Gungeon. This means that you only need to keep the item in your inventory to reap its effects in-game.
To get the Coin Crown in Enter the Gungeon, you need to carry at least 300 Bronze Coins. Alternatively, the Briefcase of Cash can speed up this process since it provides 250 Bronze Shells instantly, leaving you with just 50 more Bronze Shells to find around the Gungeon. Obtaining Gold Junk will unlock the Coin Crown instantly as well, thanks to the 500 Bronze Shells it provides.
With that said, all you have to do to get more money through the Coin Crown is to successfully clear rooms around the Gungeon. You don’t even have to clear the room with perfect health, as simply clearing a room in any way will give you a chance to earn extra Bronze Shells in-game.
Conclusion
The Coin Crown is a no-nonsense passive item that can net you a ton of Bronze Shells in Enter the Gungeon. It is already a decent money-maker on its own, but with the help of the King Bomber Synergy, you can get even more money from clearing and killing enemies in rooms in the Gungeon.
