How do you drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon?
By default, the in-game keybind to drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon is the “Down” D-pad (consoles) or F key on the keyboard (PC).
Because of the differences between PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch controller layouts, the exact button to drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon will differ from one console controller to another.
To drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon on the Playstation, players must press and hold the “Down” directional key on their Dualshock controller.
The buttons above the left joystick on the Dualshock controller are the D-pad buttons for the PS4.
To drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon on Xbox, players must press and hold the “Down” button on their Xbox controller D-pad.
The D-pad on the Xbox controller is the directional buttons on the left side of the bottom joystick.
Players must press and hold the “Down” button on the left JoyCon of the Nintendo Switch to drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon.
It’s pretty difficult to miss the D-pad on the Nintendo Switch – it is located just below the left joystick on the Nintendo Switch JoyCon.
By default, PC players must press and hold the F button on their keyboard to drop a gun in Enter the Gungeon.
PC players can rebind this button to any button they want in the options menu.
If you’re playing Enter the Gungeon in solo mode, there aren’t many instances where you would want to drop one of your guns during your Gungeon runs, as these weapons are scarce around the Gungeon.
However, if you’re playing local multiplayer co-op mode with a friend, then dropping them a weapon or two can help them get up to speed in-game and give them the ability to contribute and deal more damage around chambers.
