Two Free Classic Games Sum Up PS Plus’ September 2020 Update

This month’s PlayStation Plus September 2020 upgrade includes Street Fighter V, and PUBG, two venerable action games.

Sony wants to satisfy all of its players year-round and as one might anticipate, this is an extremely challenging process. Therefore the downloadable games for members change every month.

First-person shooter lovers may be treated on one occasion and horror enthusiasts will enjoy the next month.

Fall Guys, the instant hit and last month’s free game for PS Plus subscribers, is already a meme and one of the most popular independent games ever. It has only been available for one month.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Campaign Remastered, a fantastic update, and the new battle royale tournament Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, an instant classic, was released the previous month.

The two games for this month are the most recent entry in Capcom’s venerable fighting franchise Street Fighter and the first battle royale game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

PUBG

We all understand what battle royale is today because of titles like Fortnite and Apex Legends, which have greatly increased the genre’s popularity.

But PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is the one that got everything going.

The 100-person battle royale game, published in 2017 on Steam, is already among the most popular games ever.

Players must parachute into a map, scrounge for stuff and weapons, and then fight to be the last person remaining. This game plays quite similarly to other titles in the same category.

Considering that Street Fighter V is still rather pricey despite being on PlayStation Hits, both of these titles are fantastic purchases.

The opportunity to obtain PUBG for free should not be ignored as it is a premium game and is not playable for free like most online battle royale games.

This month, Street Fighter V packs a powerful blow.

The 2016 release of the two-player fighting game features well-known characters racing to thwart Shadaloo’s attempts to retake the world. It is set between Mortal Kombat III and Street Fighter IV.

Street Fighter is recognized by its 2D-arcade approach on the visuals (interface) and the game in general.

You may land light and hit heavy to increase your “EX Gauge” which you can utilize to execute special strategies or finishers.

The “V Gauge”, which fills upon receiving strikes, is a new addition to the game.

Defensive special maneuvers like counters, deflections, and  parries, may then be performed.

The fighter line-up on the game is filled with well-known figures like M. Bison, Chun-Li and Ryu & Ken.

However, seasonal updates also included the addition of other well-known figures like Balrog, E. Honda, and Guile.

Introducing new characters like Rashid, Laura, and Necalli, who are all crucial to the main plot, seems to be the reason for this.

Street Fighter V garnered positive reviews from most gaming publications and gamers in general, earning a Metacritic score of 77 out of 100 and winning “Best Fighting Game” at the 2016 Game Awards.
