What does the Super Space Turtle do in Enter The Gungeon?
The Super Space Turtle is a B-rank passive item in Enter the Gungeon. As soon as you pick up the Super Space Turtle in-game, a Super Space Turtle familiar will spawn and fight alongside you by shooting bullets that deal minor damage to enemies.
The Super Space Turtle shares four Synergies with four other guns/items in Enter the Gungeon. If you manage to pick up another Super Space Turtle passive item, it will add another Super Space Turtle companion.
Is the Super Space Turtle a good item in Enter The Gungeon?
The Super Space Turtle is a very good passive item in Enter the Gungeon. Unlike other spawned Gungeon companions, the Super Space Turtle fires bullets at a continuous rate rather than in bursts, making it a very reliable damage dealer despite its low bullet damage.
Best Synergy for the Super Space Turtle in Enter The Gungeon
The Super Space Turtle has four Synergies in Enter the Gungeon – The Elephant in the Room, Super Space Turtle DX, Tea For Two, and Turtle Solutions.
The Elephant in the Room
The Elephant in the Room is a Synergy between the Super Space Turtle and the Elephant Gun. Having both items in your inventory will immediately activate the Synergy in-game.
The Elephant in the Room Synergy fixes the Elephant Gun’s bullet projectiles. Instead of shooting bullets, the Elephant Gun now appropriately shoots out elephants.
Super Space Turtle DX
The Super Space Turtle DX Synergy between the Yellow Chamber and the Super Space Turtle will turn the latter into a jammed companion, giving it more powerful bullets that pierce enemies.
Tea For Two
If you have the Super Space Turtle and the Teapot in your inventory, the Tea For Two Synergy between these two items will become active.
Tea For Two primarily affects the Super Space Turtle companion, causing it to gain a small red aura that ignites enemies on contact.
Turtle Solutions
With the Super Space Turtle and the Turtle Problem in your inventory, the Turtle Solutions Synergy will become active.
Turtle Solutions will give you an extra Super Space Turtle upon clearing rooms around the Gungeon. You can have a maximum of four Super Space Turtle companions through this Synergy, but none of them will have the ability to block bullets like they would through the Turtle Problem effect.
How to Use the Super Space Turtle in Enter The Gungeon?
The Super Space Turtle is a passive item in Enter the Gungeon, which means you can instantly reap its benefits as soon as you pick up the item in-game.
The Super Space Turtle is considered by many Enter the Gungeon players as the best companion in the game. This is primarily because of the Super Space Turtle’s continuous fire that deals consistent damage to enemies in the Gungeon.
You don’t have to do anything special to make full use of the Super Space Turtle, as the Super Space Turtle will act of its own volition and shoot down enemies as they come.
The Super Space Turtle can become even more powerful when it Synergizes with any of the four known Synergies it shares with the Elephant Gun, Yellow Chamber, Teapot, and Turtle Problem. However, the Turtle Solutions Synergy is arguably the most powerful of the bunch, offering additional Super Space Turtles that shoot and seek out enemies.
Conclusion
The Super Space Turtle is very nice to have around the Gungeon. Despite its low bullet damage, its consistent fire makes it a great companion for room clearing.
If you manage to get the Turtle Problem and activate the Turtle Solutions Synergy, you will have an army of Super Space Turtles that will make quick work of just about any enemy around the Gungeon.
