What should you do with old gear in Lost Ark?
You can sell or dismantle old gear in Lost Ark. By doing this, you can get Broken Equipment Powder, Useful Equipment Powder, or Silver, which will free up space in your inventory and allow you to use your precious inventory slots for more important gear in the future.
As you progress through Lost Ark, you will pick up tons of items such as weapons, armor, and chests. Over time, your Personal Storage slot will fill up with useless gear that you’ll never use again.
Through the Dismantle feature, you can turn your old gear into Broken Equipment Powder. This will render the equipment useless but allow it to become a single stackable item in your Inventory. Alternatively, you can sell you old gear at most merchants to get some silver back.
How to dismantle old gear in Lost Ark?
To dismantle old gear in Lost Ark, open your inventory by pressing the Inventory button (default button is ‘I’ on your keyboard) and look for the Dismantle button (hammer icon) in the bottom left corner of the Inventory menu. This will bring up the Dismantle Item menu.
Right-click on the item you want to Dismantle in your Inventory to move it to a Dismantle Item slot. After which, click on the dismantle button in the bottom right corner of the Dismantle menu.
Your old gear will be turned into Broken Gear Powder or Useful Gear Powder, which you can then sell to merchants for silver.
