The Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor is a quest item that you have to collect to complete one of the quest objectives for The Soul Left in X-301 Quest in Lost Ark. The quest objective requires you to collect three parts for a robot called B–0031, with one of the parts being the Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor.
The Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor does not provide any bonuses to your character in Lost Ark. It is simply a quest item that you have to acquire to progress in The Soul Left in X-301 Quest.
How to Complete The Soul Left in X-301 Quest
The Soul Left in X-301 is a quest you can start on Runaways Island. This quest requires you to complete the following objective on Facility X-301.
- Defeat the nearby mechanic monsters to collect parts for B-0031
- Steel Diver’s Arm Circuitry
- Steel Diver’s Joint Rivet
- Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor
Before you can start The Soul Left in X-301 Quest, you first need to complete the following quests:
- A Lighthouse for the Soul (Starlight Isle)
- For the Lost Soul (Starlight Isle)
- The Pianist of the Lonely Lighthouse (Starlight Isle)
- Starkeeper’s Records (Runaways Island)
After completing the quests above, you should receive The Soul Left in X-301 quest in Runaways Island. Head to Facility X-301 and look for the items listed above.
You can get the Steel Driver’s Arm Circuitry and Steel Driver’s Joint Rivet by defeating random enemies on Facility X-301. However, the last object, the Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor, requires you to defeat a specific enemy called The Secret Base Guard.
The Secret Base Guard spawns in three different locations on Facility X-301 in intervals of 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor is an RNG drop from defeating the Secret Base Guard, making it the most difficult to find of the three objects you have to collect for B-0031.

Where is Facility X-301?
You can find Facility X-301 in Sceptrum Ocean west of Arthetine. You can sail to Facility X-301 as soon as you unlock the ability to sail in Lost Ark.
Facility X-301 is home to the boss Experimental Tarmakum, Facility X-301 Island Token, five Mokoko Seeds, and the Secret Base Guard’s Eye Sensor.
