Chaos Gate Guide Lost Ark

What is a Chaos Gate?

Chaos Gate is a Procyon’s Compass limited-time event that spawns every hour between 11:00 AM and 5:00 AM every Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in Lost Ark.

There are four Chaos Gates in the game – Twisting Darkness Legion, Twisting Plague Legion, Twisting Mayhem Legion, and Twisting Phantom Legion. Each one features its own Zone and set of Bosses. Most Chaos Gates will also sometimes feature a Hidden boss that can spawn after you defeat the last boss. (except Twising Plague Legion)

In Chaos Gates, numerous demons spawn in waves alongside 3 bosses that you must defeat within 10 minutes. The waves of enemies and bosses repeat 3 times within to time limit, making Chaos Gates a fairly challenging event.

Defeating bosses that spawn during the event will give you 1 stack of Defeat the Legion Captain, which raises Attack Speed by 15%, reduces Cooldown by 15%, and increases Combat Resource Recovery Speed by 100%. Your character’s stats are not modified during a Chaos Gate run, and the enemy difficulty scales with the number of players in the Chaos Gate and its Recommended Item Level.
