Where is Shadowmoon Market?
Shadowmoon Market can be found west of Vern within the Sea of Heavens in Lost Ark. It is a night market crowded with merchants trying to trade mysterious goods.
You can sail to Shadowmoon Market anytime, as the island’s Admission Period is Always. However, it is worth noting that Shadowmoon Market has a relatively high Recommended Item Level of 805, so it might be a good idea to upgrade your character’s gear to around that level first before going to the island.
How to Get the Shadowmoon Market Island Token
You can get the Shadowmoon Market Token by completing the quest With a Light Heart, which itself has a long list of prerequisites. Complete the following objectives to get the Shadowmoon Market Island Token.

Shadowmoon Market Island Token Quest Requirements
Before you start the five achievements requirement, you must first complete the two quest requirements for the Shadowmoon Market Island Token. These two quests are:
- Thank You, Chipmunk
- Click! Lights and Camera
Start by completing the Follow the Footsteps, Follow the Moonlight quest. After you complete that quest, head to the southmost end of the western part of Shadowmoon Market. There you will find a large boot that you must interact with to get a secret area.
In the secret area, interact with the Hidden Object to get the Thank You, Chipmunk quest. Complete the Thank You, Chipmunk quest, then move on to the next quest, Click! Lights and Camera.
Before you can take on Click! Lights and Camera, you must first complete the Beyond the Moonlight, Far Away quest in the Shadowmoon Market Island main questline. Complete the quest objectives to unlock Click! Lights and Camera.
Completing the Five Achievements
Aside from the quests mentioned in the previous section, you must also complete five unique achievements to get the Shadowmoon Market Island Token.
Before you start taking pictures of the Spirits on Shadowmoon Market, you might want to complete the Click! Lights and Camera quest first. You can unlock this quest by going through the island quest chain until you complete the Beyond the Moonlight, Far Away quest. You can hit two birds with one stone here, as the pictures you take here will also count towards the achievement.
Four of the five achievements require you to take pictures of the Gold, Red, Blue, and Green Elementals on Shadowmoon Market. The achievement requirement asks for 30 pictures of the Golden Elementals and 100 pictures (each) of the Red, Blue, and Green Elementals. This will complete 4/5 of the achievements.
Of course, you’ll need a camera to take pictures of the Elementals. Don’t worry! There are multiple cameras you can pick up and use on the island. Bring up the map and look for yellow dots – these are Cameras you can use to take pictures of the Elementals.
For the fifth achievement, you must find and complete a 4-part Hidden Story on Shadowmoon Market. Head to the plaza at the northern end of the island and refer to the images below to find all four Hidden Stories.

Shadowmoon Dance
One of the requirements to get the Shadowmoon Market Island Token is the Shadowmoon Dance Co-op Quest. This quest requires you to use 4 emotes – Cheer, Applause, Dance, and Pray.
The co-op quest is simple – use the Cheer and Applause emotes 10 times each, then use the Dance and Pray Emotes 3 times.
You can clear this co-op quest faster with some help from other players. If there are no other players around, you can also just solo the co-op quest. Just make sure to chain the Emotes as close to one another as possible so you show all four emotes within the time limit.
The fastest way to activate the Emotes is by clicking on the green Emote text in the quest menu as soon as your character completes one emote cycle. You need to time the emotes as there’s just barely enough time to activate all four emotes within the time limit.
Una’s Task: Super Secret Materials for a Super Secret Project
Super Secret Materials for a Super Secret Project is another requirement you must complete to get the Shadowmoon Market Island Token. Unlock this Una’s Task first by completing the Alchemist Lychel’s Sneaking Ambition quest.
In Super Secret Materials for a Super Secret Project, you will be tasked with the following objectives:
- Take a picture of the Elementals with a camera and gather their light powder.
- Gather Mandrakes for their roots
Complete this Una’s Task five times to check off the Super Secret Materials for a Super Secret Project requirement for unlocking the Shadowmoon Market Island Token.
Note: Progressing in the Super Secret Materials for a Super Secret Project Una’s Task will also help your progress in the Achievement and vice versa.

Can you complete the Shadowmoon Dance solo?
You can complete the Shadowmoon Dance solo, but you’ll have to chain the required Emotes one after the other perfectly to complete the dance in time. Make sure you have all 4 emotes – Cheer, Applause, Dance, and Pray since you’ll need to use all four in a chain to complete the Shadowmoon Dance.
One trick to activate the Emotes faster is typing each Emote in the Normal Chatbox. Type the following Emote commands in the chatbox then press Enter to start the Emotes faster:
- Cheer – /cheer
- Applause – /applause
- Dance – /dance
- Pray – /pray
Alternatively, you can temporarily assign all four Emotes to four quick slots for faster access. Assigning the Emotes to quick slots will allow for even faster access, as you can activate quick slot Emote by pressing keybinds directly. You can also just click on the highlighted Emote text in the quest menu. This will also activate the Emotes listed in the quest objectives.
